The backrest provides flexible postural support capable of adapting to multiple postural needs, it adapts to the shape and needs of the user.

The structure of the backrest:

• Column
• Vertebrae adjustable in length (accommodating/supporting scoliotic curves, etc.)
• “Ribs” – side inserts – can tilt, bend or even move away;
• Inserts (interchangeable) are removable, washable and ensure user comfort;

The principles of the Original Backrest:

• It’s comfortable and lightweight – made from aircraft-grade aluminum, it provides high strength for low weight.
• Customization – it was designed to meet all needs and can be customized in all its components: from the inclination of the slats, to the orientation of the vertebrae.
• Permanent ventilation – The spaces between the blades favor the passage of air. The breathable technical fabrics used for the cushions also contribute to the ventilation phenomenon.
• Flexibility – The harmonic steel of the column and the modular structure leave you free to decide where the backrest needs to bend and where it needs to provide more support.
• Torsion – The torsion of the backrest allows daily movements to be carried out in absolute freedom, without having to give up the support of the backrest.

Available in 3 variants, as height: 4 – 5 – 6 vertebrae. The size is chosen according to the height of the user, the diagnosis and according to the need for support and postural support. A short backrest is suitable for users who have good balance and muscle tone in the trunk. A high backrest is suitable for users who need more postural support. The backrest can be customized by adding or removing vertebrae to control the height.

The backrest is available in 4 widths: Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large, from a minimum of 28 cm to a maximum of 45 cm. The ribs of the backrest are made of aluminum and can be shaped as needed to perfectly adapt to the user’s measurements. In order to correctly determine the size of the backrest, the size of the clothing normally worn by the user can be taken into account.
